Jun 09, 2017 - The 35th FS heritage dates back to June 12, 1917, when the unit activated as the 35th Aero Squadron. Initially it began as a maintenance squadron, then transformed over the next 100 years from a fighter squadron, to a bomber squadron and finally back to a fighter squadron. [Read more...]
New Jersey ANG deployment augments Osan capabilities

The New Jersey Guardsmen are deployed to Osan at the request of Pacific Air Forces which utilizes Air National Guard units to help bolster the capabilities of allied forces in Korea. JDEWR brings fight to F-16 pilots

Feb 20, 2013 - The US Air Force says an F-16C flying from Japan to Alaska last July crashed at sea because of an uncommanded closure of the main fuel shutoff valve hence stopping fuel from reaching the engine. [Read more...]

'Agressors' train Guard pilots
