This has been a most rewarding career; Luke AFB, AZ (F-15) / Kunsan AB, Korea (F-16) / Spangdahlem AB, Germany (F-16) / Osan AB, Korea (F-16) / Spangdahlem AB, Germany (F-16 Support) / Osan AB, Korea (F-16 Epediter) / Spangdahlem AB, Germany (F-16 QA) / Eglin AFB, FL (F-15 Expediter) / Osan AB, Korea (Flt Safety A-10 & F-16) / Luke AFB, AZ (F-16 Flt Chief) Wouldnt trade it for the world!
Current or Favourite assignmentWhen I arrived at Spang we were 480th Tactical Fighter Squadron or "The Great Warhawk Nation". Hunter/Killer teams of F-4's & F-16's trained to seek & destroy the enemies SAM sites. We had a purpose, we deployed often and performed our missions flawlessly with great pride. Outstanding Unit Awards flowed like water & our morale was high because we knew our unit was sierra hotel. Nothing is greater than the feeling of knowing you were called upon and answered the call with superior maintenance and lethal iron laid with precision. No one can ever take that feeling away.
