Was assigned to 93-0547, 92-3885, and worked on every jet in the 389FS. Went on 7 different deployments. 2 TDYs to Saudi Arabia, to Prince Sultan Air Base, 2 TDYs to Shaik Isa Air Base in Bahrain, 1 TDY to Incrilik, Turkey, 1 TDY to Tyndal AFB in Florida, and 1 to Hill AFB in Utah. Was stationed and assigned to jets in Mountain Home AFB in Idaho. Started my school at Shepard AFB in Texas, did HOTT in Luke AFB in AZ. Won crew chief of the month in Saudi for being assigned to the high flier for 2 months in a row.

It had the most airframe hours in the squadron, so it constantly sat in CAN (canibalization). It was a forms nightmare! Always broke too! Much like 92-888, they were always broke with hydralic issues. | ||||||

This jet was a wonderful jet. It ran great in the desert, and hardly ever broke. It was the squadron's best jet on my first deployment to Saudi Arabia, and earned me a Crew Chief of the month award. I got an incentive ride in a KC-135a where I got to fly the boom, and snap some photos of our jets air refueling. |
