I started crewing F-16's in 2005 with the Virginia Air Guard. I am now with the Ohio Air Guard at the 178th FW in Springfield OH. My first F-16 was #86-227, I was the ADCC for that jet since then I have been on #86-245, #86-367 and am now the DCC for #86-373 (The Mother Ship). I joined the military in 1997. I enlisted in the Navy as an avionics technician. I worked on E-2C Hawkeyes wich is an airborne early warning platform for the navy.

Current or Favourite assignment

The 162nd is an AETC unit so you can do the math.

Deployments

I have never deployd with an F-16 unit. and you dont have the time to read about my Navy deployments.

One week end a month two weeks a year as an ADCC. I didnt have much time on the jet because someone up top thought it would be cool to switch to the F-22. So they sent the her the DC Guard. The DCC followed it if that tells you anything about it.

Hey Michael,

I left Richmond in '07 myself. In fact I was retired the same day the colors were lowered on the facility for the last time. If you see Jim McCartney out there in Springfield tell him I said hello.
