Nellis is good but wears you thin when you get lost sucked into its black hole. Korea is great when you have great people to work and party with.

Was only on this jet a few months. Wasn't very knowledgable coming from T-37's (Tweets). Good jet to start sharpening my MX teeth on though. This jet was a pig and hard to keep clean. Ended up being the jet I got my incentive ride in just before I left for Korea in Oct 98. There's probably still some puke on the left rear console somewhere. Thanks for cleaning that up for me "Chuck".

While the gun was at backshop I took the gunport home over the weekend and stripped and shined it up. That only lasted about 2 months. Pilots were complaining that when they climbed into a bank they kept getting "shot" at because of the shine. Became DCC for the first time on F-16's here.

This jet was awesome. I ended up getting "Crew Chief of the Quarter" 3 out of 4 times even though the last quarter I was in Korea for the last half of it. Couldn't have made it without the ADCC, Mean Gene. It's easy to get that stuff when both crew chiefs are $hit hot.

Got this jet from Alaska. Had a pin-up girl riding a bomb painted on the comm door. Awesome jet once the hydraulic venting problem got fixed.

Great jet with no major issues. Dedicated pilots were great.
Other aircraft/assignments Worked T-37 Tweets when I first came in 1994-1996. Randolph was great, the area was great, AETC flying schedule and work schedule was excellent.
