1998-2000: 14FS Misawa AB, Japan. F-16CJ/DJ Block 50 acft. Crewed 90-0807, 90-0817. 2001-2006: 31MXS Aviano AB, Italy. F-16CG/DG Block 40 acft. Worked Transient Alert, Crash Recovery, Wheel & Tire, and Phase Dock. (2 real world crash recovery lifts [89-2016 in Sardegna, Italy and 85-0404 in Balad, Iraq]) 2006-2007: 555AMU Aviano AB, Italy. F-16CG/DG Block 40 acft. Crewed 88-0532 and expedited. 2007-present: 1MOS Langley AFB, Virginia. F-15C/D & F-22A acft. Senior Controller in MOC. Working on clearance for F-22 program. Current or Favourite assignment"ONCE GREEN...ALWAYS GREEN!" The World Famous Highly Respected "WFHR" 555th "Triple Nickel" has been around a long time; can be traced back to Luke AFB, AZ flying F-15's. It goes back further but I can't remember. The most historical move was the 31 FW coming from Homestead AFB, FL to Aviano AB, Italy. The F-16's came from Ramstein AB, Germany back in 1994. The "Nickel" always had a way of getting things done; although the maintainers didn't agree all the time. It was better than being a 510th "Buzzard"!!!
