Been to a lot of fun places, met and partied hard with some great people. I've always had a temper issue since I can remember, it's gotten me in trouble from time to time. I think by far my worst assignment is Aviano, not fun. I enjoyed being at Shaw, one day I'll go back there, I like small towns.

Current or Favourite assignment

It doesn't snow here at Luke, too freakin hot!

Deployments

I've deployed to Incirlik for ONW and to Balad for OIF. Balad sucks, too many mortars

Good jet, flew pretty good while I was on it.
Other aircraft/assignments Currently stationed back here at good ol Luke AFB, AZ. Got here in July 2007 and worked in the 61st as a Flightline expeditor and did a stint in the office as Asst Flightchief, all that till Dec 2009. I PCA's to the 56 EMS where I spent a year as Dock Chief in Phase and now i'm the NCOIC of that same dock, i love this job, don't know what took me so long to get here. My plan is to retire out of this place, not sure when that will be though, need to make MSgt first.

Update...
Made MSgt in 2011 and moved to Inspection Section NCOIC until 2013 when I moved up to EMS Production Super. Did that until 2014 when I was moved because of my lack of a CCAF, ended up as the MXG Facilities Program Manager. Needless to say that this is no job for a Crew Chief, dropped my paperwork and I'm retiring 1 Sept 2015. Its been a great ride, cant wait to be a retiree!

What's up Jim. It's been a long time. Glad to see your doing well. I always new you'd be a lifer! I retired from the AF when I left Misawa. We had one of the best Damm parties the place had ever seen when I left for the states...do you remember that? I sure do. I'm no longer swinging wrenches. I'm a F135 Customer Support Engineer for Pratt Whitney in East Hartford, CT. If your ever going to be up in the North East drop me a line. I'd love to have a beer and chat about the good ole days at Colurs!

Hey Jim, hows it going? Just cruising around the net here and seen your name. I was like holy sh%t! So your at Luke and at phase, cool. Ive had my fair share of phase :) Left Osan about 10 months ago and stationed here at Eielson. Off to Nellis now, got picked up for the T-birds. I own a house near Luke in Surprise so when i stop in one day to check on it I hope to meet up with you. Look me up on the global here at Eielson and we'll catch up some more.
