My first assignment while still active duty before going Palace Chase, was Eielson AFB, Alaska. While @ Eielson I had the pleasure of working on the F-4E, T-33A, & the O2. And was still on base when the first 2 A-10's arrived on base straight from the factory with 14 & 11 hrs on the Airframes. After being PSC'd to Kirtland AFB NM, I worked TA for about 10mo. before getting my Palace Chase approved. With the NMANG I've also had the pleasure of working on the A7D, and the F-16. My favorite F-16 aircraft tail numbers were 90-0777 (JACKPOT), & 86-0369 (TRIPLE LOVE). Because I happened to be the crewchief for both of these aircraft @ 1 time or another. 369 was mine before I retired in 2005.

Current or Favourite assignment

The 150FW, has the best mechanics in the business and would stack them against anyone, anytime. I left a good bunch of friends when i retired. And would like to thank each and every one of them for the good times in the past, and have more fun in the future.

Deployments

I've been to Panama, Insurlik AB Turkey, Balad AB Iraq, and numerous TDY's stateside.

I inherited The Love Machine from Cannon AFB, when we transitioned from BLK40's to Blk30's. Let me tell you alot of the aircraft we got from Cannon were really piles of "JUNK" and were not even suitable for the boneyard. But like anything else, "ALOT" of time and effort went in to these aircraft. But 369 was one of the aircraft that didn't require that much work to get her back in the air. Now she has a new owner Pat Duffney, shes a good ole broad and will treat you right Pat, good luck. Pablo
