I recently returned from Aviano AB, Italy - but I am currently retraining out of the Crew Chief career field. I was previously stationed at Osan AB, Republic of Korea from June 2006 thru June 2007. While at Osan, I crewed 90-0743 which was the worst jet that belonged to me so far in my career (and a career ending jet for a different crew chief) and 90-0710, which was the 7th AF flagship and my most rewarding aircraft. I was also previously stationed at Luke AFB, AZ from Jan 2004 thru June 2006. At Luke I crewed 90-0793 (D-Model) and later 90-0762 (C-Model).

Deployments

While at Osan we "deployed" to Kadena AB, Okinawa. While stationed at Aviano, Italy we "deployed" to Incirlik, Turkey.

This D Model was the top flyer of the squadron for numerous months while I was crewing that jet.

A very clean and reliable jet. Hardly broke and always scored well during the 36 AMU cleanliness inspections.

Current: 90743   USAF 36 FS F-16C Block 40 [ act]
Only crewed this jet for about 5 months. Within that 5 month period this jet was impounded 2 times due to FOD in the cockpit and a bird strike. The worst jet that I have crewed so far in my career.

Currently the 7th AF Flagship! A very clean jet and hardly breaks. When it does break it breaks hard. I am the second whipe out of 4. Although, I complain a lot about this jet, it is my favorite and most rewarding so far.

hey i work on A-10's now in the 442nd Reserve unit. I worked with Scire in the 63 amu and was stationed at luke for 5 1/2 years. I'll tell Adam Doner you said hey

I was trying to think how the hell 743 ruined someones career, then I saw the comment about the birdstrike. Ha ha, what a hell of a time to pencil whip a preflight. Can't remember that guy's name now to save my life. I'm just glad I didn't pencil whip the intake that day.
