I was one of the original members of the 19th AMU, helped build the building. I was the Asst. Crew Chief on 363, 493, and 1023. Island hopped to Norway with the Unit, awesome time. Went to Canada as well and did some TDY's to Langley. I left active duty in 1985, and went into the reserves at Bergstrom, in Austin, Texas. After a few years I transferred to the Texas Army National Guard, and went to flight school. I retired in 2001 as a CW3. Current or Favourite assignmentIt was my first assignment, I crewed the Wing Commanders jet.
