Current or Favourite assignment

I met, worked and partied with some of the best people in the AF. My six years there are unforgetable.

Deployments

At the moment I'm involved with OEF. At Bagram AB, Afghanistan. Started OEF at Al Udied in November 2001 with the 389th F-16CJ.

Kunsan was the deciding factor on me staying in the AF. This base, the people I worked with and the F-16 kept me in.

Met some friends here that I still keep in touch with. A lot of good memories come from Germany. Went to Hungry in 1990 to an air show. It was the first time the AF with the F-16 was there.

Moved to the flag ship as the DCC. This was one of the best aircrafts I ever worked. Didn't break.

Was two other aircraft, but can't remember the tail numbers. This was the last one I crewed at Spang. Brand new F-16CJ with the GE 129. How I missed working those.
92889 [Detailed history of this F-16]
Unit 389th Fighter Squadron "Thunderbolts" [Unit History]
Period 1995 - 1997
Current: 92889   USAF 157 FS F-16C Block 52 [ act]
The war machine. This aircraft always deployed, even when it was a spare. It was a flying machine.

Period 1997 - 1998
Current: 86336   USAF 182 FS F-16C Block 30 [ act]
Back at the Kun. It was a Spangdhalm reunion between Osan and the Kun. Had a blast as usual.

Period 1998 - 2006

Back from the Kun and got my aircraft back. The war machine! Had to leave her in 2001 when I went to QA. Came back as an expediter in 2002 and watched over her again. Now they are going to the Guard and I had to leave the F-16 community.
F-15E Strike Eagle
Unit 391st FS Mountain Home, Idaho
Period 2006 - 2007
I'm not crewing anymore and didn't want to leave the F-16 world. It left me via the BRAC. Now I'm an F-15E section chief. Been in the unit for two months and now deployed. Trying to fit in with the slower paced F-15E world.
Other aircraft/assignments I didn't mention the SR-71 that I crewed at Beale. I wasn't asigneed to one aircraft. Got in trouble and was sent to non powered AGE. Wanted to get out of the AF it wasn't for me. Then got an assignment to the Kun with a fallow on to Spang. That made me re-enlist and I'm still here today. The trip I'm on now added a few countries to my list that I have been to.
