I was the assistant dedicated crew chief on 88-424 for 1.5 years until I took over as the dedicated crew chief on 782. I crewed this jet the day it went down in Iraq and was one of the worst days I have experienced. that along with the squadron jet losing B system hydraulics 3 days later and coming in backwards. I remember the pilot went home 3 days after the crash..
