Finally free from the PCS merry-go-round of doom. Luke-Kunsan-Luke-Kunsan-Eielson. Been at it for 7 years now. First assignment was Luke.....less than thrilled. Joined to escape Houston and got sent to basically the same damn place. Luke 1.0 wasnt a bad experience, we still had A and B flights, and working blk25s was an experience, 2 years later i was off to the Kun. Kunsan lifted a lot of the shackles and it suddenly became less about cleaning jets and more about trying our damnedest to get them in the air. Needless to say I was DEVASTATED when AFPC canx'd my follow-on to Lakenheath and returned to me to Luke. So began Luke 2.0, the absolute WORST time in my enlistment. Things had changed, and i truthfully performed like shit-bag. I was disgruntled constantly, and it seemed everyone had created "cliques" or swingshift mafias. I quickly reapplied for Korea and hardly a year later I was off for round 2. Kunsan 2.0 was a great time, lots of great people, again was devastated when my re-training to become a Sensor Operator was canx'd due to "AF Budget Cuts", and borderline homocidial when they, once again, gave me orders to Luke.....Luckily my Chief knew the functional and got me hooked up with Eielson, and its been great ever since.

My Jets & Assignments

84331 [Detailed history of this F-16]
Unit 62nd Fighter Squadron "Spikes" [Unit History]
Period 2008 - 2010
Current: 84331   USAF AMARC F-16D Block 25 [ sto]
My first jet. She was always clean and pristine, Code 1 tracking sheet stretched as far as you could see. Canopy never would quite shut all the way, guessing due to her collision in the early 90s.
88546 [Detailed history of this F-16]
Unit 35th Fighter Squadron "Pantons" [Unit History]
Period 2010 - 2011
Current: 88546   USAF 35 FS F-16C Block 40 [ act]
The D.O's jet. Badass acft. Crewed her solo as an ADCC for most of my first tour. 99% FMC for 6 months, then phase touched it.......
84396 [Detailed history of this F-16]
Unit 62nd Fighter Squadron "Spikes" [Unit History]
Period 2011 - 2013
Current: 84396   USAF AMARC F-16D Block 25 [ sto]
This jet......aka THE BAG or THE TAIL WE DO NOT SPEAK.
88489 [Detailed history of this F-16]
Unit 35th Fighter Squadron "Pantons" [Unit History]
Period 2013 - 2014
Current: 88489   USAF 35 FS F-16C Block 40 [ act]
Hated this jet on my first tour, code 3 all the time for "porpoising" in flight. Supervision had us change the stabs and bearings 3x before specs finally figured out the gyro was toasted. Second tour, I was assigned to this acft, she was a Code 1, NorK hating machine. Her canopy got fucked up and she now has blk25 canopy fresh from AMARC.
85439 [Detailed history of this F-16]
Unit 62nd Fighter Squadron "Spikes" [Unit History]
Period 2010 - 2010
Current: 85439   USAF AMARC F-16C Block 25 [ sto]
Assigned to 439 after being moved from B Flight to A flight after the great "Scandal at the 62". It was to see my beloved 331 from the other side of the ramp, but 439 quickly grew on me.
86320 [Detailed history of this F-16]
Unit 18th Aggressor Squadron "Blue Foxes" [Unit History]
Period 2014 -
Current: 86320   USAF AMARC F-16C Block 30 [ sto]
Great jet. Turns ADCC's into flagship ADCC's. Which why I'm a solo DCC currently.

War on DIT and cleaning jets? You did both of those tasks rather poorly. From a Production standpoint, I have to say, we did well producing sorties. Your tone and attitude is not that becoming an NCO.

That may very well be, and to this day I still DESPISE this job. I do poorly because I am not well suited to this job and luke was a poor fit. Kunsan at least had comraderie and not people trying to fuck you at every turn. You, sir, are the only reason I even made it through Luke. Your guidance and faith in me are the only reason I have been enabled to carry on and continue my pursuit of being an enlisted flyer, yes my attitude has changed greatly since that terrible year at luke in 2012-2013
