First build C-model with the MCID (Modular Common Inlet Duct) for the USAF.
My name is Craig "Trigger" Stevenson and I was the pilot of #86-0262 the day of the MiG kill. I found your website while searching for pictures of my jet. I signed the kill star when "Carp" Carpenter brought the jet to Moody for my retirement ceremony in December of 2002. |

This is the first bird I've been DCC on. She's got a lot of history; the first block 30 big-mouth and a Mig-23 kill. I've spent a lot of time with this jet, both on and off the clock. I took all the panels that are open for a preflight insp. off and polished/painted them. I also polished all the probes, intake lights, JFS door, hubcaps, and landing/taxi light rings. We attend several airshows every year, so if you see us, stop and say hello.

Time to put this baby in the Udvar Hazy Museum with single Mig killers F-4J
and F-14 already reposing in rest in this esteemed museum,
Unless the Air Force wants to top the Blue Angeles with their F-16 clad in Thunderbird paint reposing right next to Blue Angel 's legacy F/A-18C.
