First build C-model with the MCID (Modular Common Inlet Duct) for the USAF.
My name is Craig "Trigger" Stevenson and I was the pilot of #86-0262 the day of the MiG kill. I found your website while searching for pictures of my jet. I signed the kill star when "Carp" Carpenter brought the jet to Moody for my retirement ceremony in December of 2002.
Just wanted to let you know the date of the kill was January 17th, 1993, two years after the start of Desert Storm. Thanks for the great website!
Thanks

MiG-23 kill marking remained. The pilot that scored the kill signed next to the star when the jet was brought to his retirement ceremony in December 2002 at Moody AFB, Georgia.
This is the first bird I've been DCC on. She's got a lot of history; the first block 30 big-mouth and a Mig-23 kill. I've spent a lot of time with this jet, both on and off the clock. I took all the panels that are open for a preflight insp. off and polished/painted them. I also polished all the probes, intake lights, JFS door, hubcaps, and landing/taxi light rings. We attend several airshows every year, so if you see us, stop and say hello.
