Steve Hoog, who served as the 388th wing's commander (Hill AFB) since July 2001, passed the command of on to Col. Charles W. Lyon in July 2003. Hoog and his family plan to move to Langley Air Force Base in Virginia, where he will serve as the Air Combat Command assistant director of operations.
