F-16s collide on tarmac at Nellis

Two F-16s (#85-1546 & #85-1549) collided shortly after landing at Nellis Air Force Base on Saturday morning around 11:20h. The jets, assigned to the 301st Fighter Wing, Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base in Fort Worth, Texas returned from a flight operation to the base outside Las Vegas.

The F-16 Viper demo team traveled to Colorado to tear up the Colorado foothills for the annual Rocky Mountain Airshow held at Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport during the weekend of the 14th-16th. While the Viper Demo team has performed in Colorado multiple times in the past, this show was a little bit unique.

US F-16 crashes in Germany - Pilot safe

A pilot ejected from a U.S. F-16 before it crashed Tuesday morning around 09:00h in a forested area in southern Germany. He parachuted to safety but suffered minor injuries which required medical attention, according to a local police spokesman.

Iraqi Air Force F-16 crashed during night training mission

An Iraqi F-16 assigned to the 162nd Wing, Arizona ANG, crashed sometime around 20.00h today, five miles east of Douglas Municipal Airport, while partaking in a night training mission. The Iraqi pilot, Brig. Gen. Rasid Mohammed Sidq, is believed to have been killed in this mishap.
