Skeeter has been retired. 86-0246 departing NAS Ft. Worth on its final flight, 8/23/23, direct to AMARG. Fatigue cracks necessitated retirement rather than moving on to another unit as the 457th moves on the F-35. This aircraft had been the one painted up with the Texas Flag, and nicknamed Skeeter for the cartoon mosquito in the squadron insignia. 8/23/23, photo by Keith Snyder.
