RNlAF F-16A block 15 #J-139 from 313 sqn had this 'Rausmaus' ventral fin art applied in 1988. The plane was named after mice had, during a 6 day closure of the shelter for X-mas, climbed up the wheels and landing gear and had eaten their way through cable feedthroughs in the wheelwells and also eaten away compartment and cable insulation materials from front to back of the plane, requiring a multimonths rewiring program to have it flying. 'Rausmaus' ventral fin art. The 'Rausmaus' name was applied after this jet had been taken over by mice during the Xmas holidays of 1987. The mice had climbed up the chocks into the wheelbays and eaten their way through wiring insulation deep into the insides of the jet. She was under repairs for almost 9 months as a result.
