RSAF has changed emblems twice when it first came into being in 1968, as the Singapore Air Defence Command (SADC), its emblem was the roundel. This was changed to the "yin-yang" (see photo) in 1973. In 1990, the RSAF chose another emblem, which is the present lion head.
