Hi Peter,
You have some great shots here. I've visited your site a few times to seek out reference photos for kits that I have worked on from time to time. Right now, I'm in the process of painting the new Tamiya 1/32 F16 CJ, and decided to act out my artistic license and rather than paint in in the standard low vis scheme, I've chose to paint it in the scheme as depicted as the USAF F16 C block 32 #87-0267 from 414 CTS, as described on the F16.net web site. The image that I'm refering is found under the general heading "Photo Library", then in folder "F-16s by Air Force - US Air Force and US Navy", on page 26, photo number 231. I'm trying to make out the colours, and I'm guessing at the the darker shade of blue, which looks slightly like a flat version of Blue Angels blue, or perhaps something with a bit more grey in it. The lighter blue, if that is what it is, might be aircraft grey (I'm using Humbrol and Model Master colours as a reference). I think that I have nailed the brown down, though I can't quite recall what Humbrol number I went with. On my computer monitor, the brown looks like a slightly dark toupe.
If you could spare a minute of two and tell me what colours you think they are I would be indebted. Thanks for your time.
