    I was there from 2003-2004 and you can still tell where the acft hit the dirt there is a f-16 silouette

    yeah, those trees never grew back quite the same. They were ugly trees to begin with.

    An American F-16 crashed last night during takeoff from the Osan Air Base, Kyonggi Province, the Ministry of National Defense said. The pilot managed to eject from the plane just before the crash and was sent to nearby hospital.

    Crashed at the end of the runway after pilot ejected safely during takeoff at 20:06 hours at Osan AB, Korea. Two ducks were sucked into the intake and caused the crash. A woman driving her car just inside the main gate was injured as the debris crossed her path. Large portions of wreckage crossed the road inside the Doolittle gate and into an aircraft historic park.
