Pilot killed in F-16 crash

The pilot of an F-16C fighter was killed April 22 at 8:30 p.m. when his aircraft crashed at a bombing range 15 miles west of Carrizozo, N.M.
The pilot, 1st Lt. Patrick Potter, 150th Fighter Wing, New Mexico Air National Guard here, was part of a three-ship mission qualification bombing training flight.
A board of officers is on-scene to investigate the cause of the accident.
