F-16 Fighting Falcon News

May 13, 1998 (by Lieven Dewitte) - An Iowa Air National Guard F-16 aircraft assigned to the 185th Fighter Wing, Sioux City, Iowa, crashed at 10:30 a.m. in northeast Nebraska today.
The pilot ejected and was taken to a local hospital. His condition is unknown at this time. The pilot was on a training mission when the incident occurred.

A board of officers is convening to investigate the accident.
