Israeli F-16 crashes, pilot ditches unhurt

An Israeli air force F-16A crashed on Wednesday after the plane's engine failed. The pilot bailed out unhurt in the Negev Desert. It was the second such F-16 malfunction in a year in the Israeli air force.
Near the outset of a training exercise, the pilot detected an engine malfunction. When he could not restart the engine, he abandoned the plane. He is safe and sound.
