BRU-57 Smart Bomb Racks for F-16 in 2003

August 19, 1999 (by Lieven Dewitte) - DRS Technologies, Inc. announced today that the M. Technologies team, consisting of M. Technologies, DRS Technologies and EDO Corporation, has been awarded a $20. 7 million four-year production contract to manufacture test and production units of BRU-57 Smart Bomb Racks for the U.S. Air Force. The BRU-57 Smart Bomb Racks provide fighter aircraft with the capacity to double their deployment of smart weapons. Approximately 350 of these racks will be delivered for F-16 Falcon aircraft by early 2003.
