Cannon F-16 crashes

A Cannon Air Force Base F-16 crashed at 09.13h CDT Sept. 1, 30 miles southwest of Fort Sumner, N. M. Maj. Kevin Frisbie, 523rd Fighter Squadron, ejected from the aircraft.
He was transported to the University Hospital, Albuquerque, N. M., where he is listed in stable condition.
Frisbie, a senior pilot with 2,425 flying hours, has 950 hours in the F-16. Frisbie was on a routine training mission at the time of the accident.
A board of officers will investigate the accident.
