First Polish pilot qualified on the F-16

Colonel Rościsław Stepaniuk is the first Polish pilot trained to fly the F16C Block 52M+. Colonel Stepaniuk completed his seven months' training in Tucson, Arizona.
He is the first of thirteen Polish pilots currently in the US and one of 48 who will undergo the training within the next three years; one for each F-16 plane bought by Poland.
The cost of training one pilot, including 62 flights, is estimated at 1 million US dollars.
