Crashed not far from Kunsan AB with the pilot ejecting safely. The pilot lost the attitude indicator during flight caused by a faulty EGI. The stand-by attitude indicator also suffered some problems with the pilot being unable to assure its attitude and airspeed flying through some thick cloud layers. With the help of a wingman flying in trail, communicating navigation and altitude information, the pilot started a descent to expected cloud free sky based on briefed weather. But at 3,000 ft MSL, the pilot attempted to level off, but became further disoriented and as the attitude continued to decrease, now nearing the water, the decision was made to eject.
