During a combat air patrol, the aircraft was piloted by Sqn Ldr Hassan Siddiqui and was directed by PAF controllers to some Indian Su-30MKI fighters. The pilot fired an AIM-120C-5 missile but the Indian Sukhoi apparently escaped.
