Dick was killed in a midair with an Aggressor while flying out of Ramstein. He was a good friend and excellent fighter pilot. He's been missed.

I remember talking to him and having a brief conversation with him before he launched out for that sortie. We spoke as he was strapped in and I was still on the ladder before taking it off.

He was a very good man I was a Crew Chief at Ramstein from,1985-1992

I have thought about him often during the years.
