Staff Sergeant Kelae H. Barcelona

SSgt. Kelae H. Barcelona (Shane) of Luke AFB was taken away from us at the early age of 26, on Monday, January 3, 2005, due to a fatal car accident. Kelae served in the U.S. Air Force for 8 years as an F-16 crew chief. He was born on the island of Oahu, Hawaii, where he lived until the age of 17. He then enlisted in the Air Force in July of '96. The U.S. Air Force was his career. He loved his country and his job. Kelae also loved extreme outdoor activities, such as, bungee jumping, go cart racing, snowboarding, surfing, going to the track and so on. He lived his life to the fullest. He was also a beloved son, brother and friend. He leaves behind Father, Happy Barcelona; Mother, Diana Barcelona; Sisters, Anrael Barcelona, Delaneya Barro, Lucia Figueroa, Shenna Teodoro, Addahleah Lorenzo and Brothers, Brenton Barcelona, and Fidel DeSoto; Grandparents, Juan and Carrie Barcelona. He also leaves behind his loving girlfriend, Ragina Gishey and her daughter, Andrea Gishey. Burial at the Hawaii State Veterans Cemetary. [Adv Jan. 16, 2005]
