I worked with and for Roger for a long time at Hahn. We played racquetball together and went on a lot of deployments together. He was a good man and a fine officer. The last time I saw him was in 85 in New Mexico. I got the call about his passing while stationed at McGuire in 91. He was my very good friend and a really great guy to work for. I think about him often and will always miss him. My understanding is he died from a heart attack while jogging. He had a form of heart disease that unless the doctors are specifically looking for it they wouldn't know it was there. The world lost a good man when "The Bus Company" passed away.

Roger Busico aka BUS COMPANY was a great asset to our squadron in Vietnam. Full of fighter pilot humor yet a concerned friend and above all a dedicated fighter pilot. When we heard he was down, the initial input was not good. He was horribly burned when the SAR helicopter got him out of the jungle. Tough but so badly burned it was really touch and go we haard back at ops. I personally enjoyed his friendship, and many a beer together and will remember him always. We did not see each other after he got back to CONUS but I kept up with him and was very saddened to hear of his passing. Another fine warrior gone but not forgotten.
