Raytheon Completes JSOW Operational Test and Evaluation firings

Raytheon Company's unitary/penetration variant of Joint Standoff Weapon (JSOW-C) has completed operational test (OT) firings with nine of 10 shots successful against a wide range of targets. JSOW-C was developed by a team that includes the U.S. Navy, Raytheon, BAE Systems and Thales Missile Electronics.

L-3 Communications Systems-East has been awarded a contract by BAE Systems to provide its Strategic / Tactical Airborne Recorder (S/TAR) for the USAF Theater Airborne Reconnaissance System (TARS). They will be supplying these state of the art systems for both the TARS Electro-Optical P3I Program and the TARS Synthetic Aperture Radar program.

The first two of Israel's newest F-16I fighter jets (408, 409) landed at the Mizpe Ramon Israel Air Force base in the Negev this afternoon. It is the first batch of a total of 102 planes Israel has ordered from the United States.
