2nd SCANG pilot posts 4,000 hours in a month

In the span of a month, two South Carolina Air National Guard F-16 pilots have reached a milestone few aviators achieve.
Col. David "Oscar" Meyer
is the second pilot from the 169th Fighter Wing to reach 4,000 hours in the F-16 while deployed supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.

148th FW announces Afghanistan deployment

"Last week we received a deployment order tasking nearly 300 of our Bulldogs of the 148th Fighter Wing to go serve at Kandahar Air Field, in Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom," said 179th Fighter Squadron Commander Lt.
