USAF F-16C block 25 #84-1315 from the 496th TFS spotted at Hahn AFb in 1986 on the morning of deployment to Zaragoza AB for WTD. Note the unusual load of 3 bags of gas and a pair of BSU-49. After Eldorado Canyon, France for the first time allowed overflights with ordinance the entire squadron launched from Hahn, refueled overhead, crossed France, flew short low level prior to dropping on Bardenas Reales Range and recovered at Zaragoza AB.
