Lockheed Martin has successfully completed the initial phase of flight testing of a more powerful engine for the latest version of the F-16, the Block 60. The engine is a General Electric F110-GE-132 turbofan engine which is derived form the current F110-GE-100 and F110-GE-129 engines powering the majority of F-16C/Ds world-wide.
