RNlAF F-16A block 1 #J-221 carries a so-called red "scrap gear" (remaines of J-645), so that the aircraft is still moveable. There is no oil and nitrogen in the gear making it so low at the ground. The picture was taken at Soesterberg AB in July of 2004. [Photo by by Martin Imhof]
