I was at EOR waiting for our jets to leave when we all saw this guy coming in with a stuck throttle. Was maybe 300 yrds from it when he ejected. Got it all on tape HA! -
Incentive ride
I had an incentive ride in this bird back in 2000 (coldlake canada). Over g'd the jet....9.8...passed out......everyone was pissed....including me...but well worth it....Dont know how but Maj. Olmost (?) pissed in his piddle pack during our flight.....weird!!! That guy had issues...lol.....Sad to see her all twisted up. RIP I really miss workin these things and hangin with the boys. -
Cold Lake
I remember Maj Olmost and Cold Lake, that guy did have issues with his bladder. Worked this jet at Viper then was in Falcon when this took place...

Crashed at the end of the runway at 8:34am while attemtping to land at Nellis AFB. The pilot ejected safely but was taken to the hospital to be treated for scratches. A briefcase got loose on the back-seat and jammed the throttle making it unable for the pilot to shut down the afterburner. The accident happened because the pilot failed to comply with emergency procedures.
