i worked here when this happened,actually this was the fault of a 7 level E-7 who pulled the gear pins during an ops check and neatly placed them under the radome. A crew cheifs bike didnt make it through this mishap. -

Was this an E&E Master Sgt? Definately not the "Barber Pole" Indication the job guide discribed... - This Jet actually was repaired, and later fitted with NVG upgrades. -

I worked on this plane when it was first assigned to Nellis in 1991. It took the ACC record of the most consecutive code 1's in 1992- 116!!!
