F-16 Accidents

Accident occured while deployed in Southwest Asia. F-15E 91-0335 from the 494th FS was in process of having munitions swaped for a mission change only 60 feet away. While moving an MJJ-1 'jammer' in reverse the jammer bomb loader coult not be stopped. The driver was pinned against aircraft causing serious injury but the machine did not stop and threw the driver off. The jammer continued on, hit a tool box and continued unmanned until it hit the unmaned F-16 fuel tank. Fuel leaked while the sparks from the impact ignited causing a fire which engulfed the right side of the F-16.
