Well you gotta admit they wouldn't have an opportunity like this back home.

Flying lower than the windmills, dikes and tulips impressive, but probably not as photogenic.

I'm particularly impressed by the wingy stacking low on lead in the turn.

Firstly NEVER HIT THE LEADER in formation. Secondly NEVER FLY LOWER than the LEADER at LOW LEVEL. End of story.

On the right side of JPG one may see the row of ORANGE Lights which form the MEATBALL in the Mirror aboard HMAS Melbourne with the heap of the barricade nestled on the left. Note WINGman is Higher than the leader at 36 feet ASL.

Found it...this normally would have gone in the deleted file, but that's the lower ridge on the canyon obscuring the bottom right of the shot, so I kept it.

It sure looks like this F-15 is toast, and that probably came after it got creamed by an AMRAAM (or 2) at range. Tough to watch a former favorite surpassed like that.

Perhaps the forthcoming F-15EX will do something to even the odds
