Any suggestions on viewing / photography locations near Eielson AFB?

Also, any ideas how to glean departure or return times (or windows) from open sources for Red Flag Alaska 22-1?

TIA.
Take an F-16, stir in A-7, dollop of F-117, gob of F-22, dash of F/A-18, sprinkle with AV-8B, stir well + bake. Whaddya get? F-35.

Dang. Nice shot. Raptors with tanks. Nice.

Did manage to swing by Eielson AFB. The Gyrenes were there. Saw four Killer Bees launch from Rwy 32, and two-four Super Dupers. Several Eagles on the ramp (made everything else, including Super Dupers which are NOT small) look small. Looked like some visiting Vipers too.

Can't claim the following picks are "great", maybe not even screenworthy, but since my son took the shots, I plonk them here:

Exposure was off on this next shot, but it's got tip vortices, so...

I had to work the day Beowulf stopped by the Rocky Mountain front range last year. This was my first Lightning sighting. My initial impressions -- dang, that sucker is LOUD. Sounds angry -- hungry. Eagles on the ramp - nice. Some Super Dupers. Some Vipers -- always reminds me of a hotrod / Supermarine Spitfire. But the Lightnings... seemed like a spaceship in comparison. First word that jumped to mind when I saw that first one launch... shark. Going to feed.
