F-35 "bug spray". Chemical free repellant.
How many SDB's can an F-35 carry now internally + externally? (Ala beast mode -- maybe not max tonnage, but max number of munitions.)
I seem to recall A-7 images from my youth where there were six Mk82 on one pylon station: dual triple ejector racks. Is there any plan for an F-35 to be able to carry dual TER's? Multiple 500lb JDAMs (asuming the JDAMs would fit on a TER?) could be useful for a JTAC. I think the OP some twelve or more years prior asked about it, but not sure there was a definitive answer. An F-35 with eight SDB I/II's internally, and twelve or more 500lb JDAMs externally would be like a mini-Bone in the CAS role. (Not a VLO configuration, obviously.)

Take an F-16, stir in A-7, dollop of F-117, gob of F-22, dash of F/A-18, sprinkle with AV-8B, stir well + bake. Whaddya get? F-35.

24 SDBs on each F-35 (8 internal, 16 external). Only remaining hurdle is the B which needs a redesigned BRU for internal SDB carriage.
Will the MER (BRU-41) end with the navy's legacy hornets/harriers? 6 bombs on a single rack is impressive even if obsolete with PGMs.
Don't think the BRU-55 or BRU-42 have been integrated yet on the F-35 so its still single (not dual or triple) JDAM carriage for now. There's always the "obsolete" F-15s with 12 LJDAMs on the CFT stations for CAS and generic tactical carpet bombing.
