Hasegawa 1/48 RNoAF # 78-0286

Her I will put pictures of my newest project, it is Viper nr. 286. from when it was deployed in italy during the bombing of Yugoslavia in 1999. It will be armed with 4xAIM-120 and 2xAIM-9, It will also have an ALQ-131 on the centerline. I will use VINGTOR decals for this build, and pictures will be put in every night during the holidays. ( I hope) I hope you will comment on it as it progresses!

Here comes the first few pictures, I have spent an hour buliding and painting the ejection seat, adding seatbelts made from foil. I also had to have a go at the exhaust, as I wanted to see if I could get the bluish tint good on the inner ring....

Hoping to get that faint bluish tint right..tricky one!

Today I have been of course a bit busy, but managed to squeeze out a cockpit now before I am off to bed.

I know, it is not done yet, just wanted to see if i could get that blue tint....it will be all cleaned up and the decals will also be put on, maybe today!

I have been working hard at my Viper since last posting, but have not taken many pictures as it was basically just boring bits like undercarriage etc. But now it is standing on its own, it still nedds to be tidied up a bit, and will of course have decals on, but I have finished the weapons and the tail, will have pictures of them tomorrow! I never put the tail on before I am finished with the decals, is so much more easy when you can lay the viper on its back! This time I have laid the panel lines in dark grey, to try to make them visible, but not too dominating... tell me what you think?

like it so far pal... Guess this one will be better than the last of your work.. colourscheme on this one? hihi, got an itch in my own hands now, better start on that starfighter soon....

Yeah you have to get started...it is so much fun! remember when we built the to hasegawas all those years ago? I use Tamiya FX-19 on the body and XF-66 on the nose....

Well! Tonight I finished her! I have taken a few pictures, but the battery of the camera flattened out, so I will have to post pictures in the morning, on the Finished Model page!!

Wow - what a cool looking Viper!!!! Have You remembered the Block-10-specific antenna under the air linet??
