The Iron dome, Israel and the Left wing hypocrisy

If you feel you absolutely must talk about cars, morality, or anything else not related to the F-16, do it here.

I want to 1st give a warning to the parties that read this that I am going to become a little political today so bear with me.

1. In order to keep the theme of aviation and technology I must say that during the current conflict Iron dome has been amazing. The system has altered the political discussion about israel. With out Iron dome Israel could not function as a state. With Iron dome The Palestinians look feckless, and ineffective.
3000 Rockets fired would without a doubt cause casualties on an epic scale.

2. A am angry at left wingers who are either manipulated, the manipulators, or dont know squat about history.
This is not a story about white men stealing blacks land.
(I want to give context and clarity I am black)
This is about a conflict that has been around for thousands of years if you believe the bible.
Even if you don't believe the bible lets not fotgot that the Arab nations surrounding Israel attempted to exterminate them. And made several good attempts at it since the 1940s.

3. The left has forgotten that arabs and blacks are not the only oppressed people. I seemed to recall that there was a war of extermination launched against the Jews in wich the world suffered.

4. Im sure the points hasn't bern ignored by an older generation that reads that this conflict is funded by Iran.
Where would a poor oppressed people get sophisticated drone bombs, and rockets?

5. Do you want to know the worst part of this?
No protests are launched for the Uighurs in China who are in concentration camps being raped, and ethnic ckeased. These people are really helpless.
They dont have 3000 rockets or drones.
Why isnt Iran funding these guys?

6. The current political agenda has infiltrated this generation! Look at this article.
Look at some message boards.

https://www.cnn.com/2021/05/17/us/israe ... index.html

https://www.resetera.com/threads/ign-st ... er.427154/

This is a gaming message board where young people hang out.
Quotes like "#uck capitalism" really disturb me.

Discuss, Im I just getting old or is their an agenda here?

The Iron Dome has been updated, but the other side also gets more sophisticated. I remember years ago only a small portion of the missiles were worthy of being intercepted, most of them striked places caused no harm. Recent report suggests a higher percentage of missiles are intercepted, meaning those missiles are more accurate. And more missiles has been launched than those in the previous round.

The Iron Dome exists so the ground actions in Gaza, and the massive casualties associated, can be delayed and hopefully avoided. The question is how many missiles the other side has stockpiled, and is the defense shield capable of absorbing this round of attacks? Or is "mowing the lawn" inevitable?

Anyway, the other side basically has inexhaustible supply of man, material, and money. They are far from being feckless. This periodic spasm of guerrilla warfare is their means of getting rich and implementing compulsive urban renewal. And Israel has no meaningful way to prevent them from getting the missiles for the next round. This conflict will be prolonged indefinitely. The Iron Dome helps, but only to some extent.

Hannity talked about direct Chicom influence over Michael Bloomberg last night. (Who's news do you turn to for finance in 2021?) It wasn't long ago the Gulf States bought into our textbook makers and CNN. China followed suit. The state department had no problem with foreign influence on critical cultural pivot points in every day American life. When operatives from The Kingdom were caught filming the 'lone gunman' that terrorized Pensacola NAS it set off Ron DeSantis. He wanted that evil out of America and pulled every string to get it removed from Florida first. Washington tried to get him to back off so he pulled his Trump access card and cut through their baloney. We've done a poor job vetting our allies since 1970 and the chickens have come home to roost. The last 115 days has done nothing but accelerate the retreat from our return to pre-1970 doctrine. The cuts in airframes is your canary for the future. But it's okay, the people are distracted by that $300 per kid monthly check beginning in July.

This isn't a red versus blue issue.

I mean If your going to rewrite history, and claim that Jews were never in the middle east until white Europeans put them their then go ahead. I mean who believes in the bible, or archeology, the crusades, or any of that history stuff anyway?! Because you are woke right? Is that what they call it?

What is this (rather tasteless) political thread doing in the Military Aviation - Technology subforum?

Besides, the Forum etiquette clearly states to avoid politics and religion.

Stay away "botsing" if you do not want to be part of this discussion and do not understand that all military weapons / technology is politically connected, from conception through development to how and when or even if it ever gets used.

Even that forum rule you mention is a politicaly motivated power play to prevent religious perspectives from enter our shared social consciousness.

One side of the political spectrum , the one that always says "why can't we all just get along" actualy just wants silence while they yammer on.

This is a forum. It should encourage discussion, not discourage it.

Iron dome has saved thousands of Palestinian lives by enabling Isreal to withstand these rocket attacks without having to restore to a ground invasion of Gaza.

yes the left are hypocrites, nothing new under the sun. The same "avowed marxists" are raking in millions and separating themselves from the rabble.

Don't worry, Capitalism isn't going anywhere. Its going to be "woke capitalism" Which is Nike making big bucks while using Chinese slave labor like you mentioned while decrying "inequality" its a nasty game. but people see what they want.

Basically youre looking at the same old story, weak people make hard times. Well people with a lot going for them don't realize how good they have it. I'm not a huge fan of the police, but i understand their necessity. The people who want to "defund the police" weren't around for crime like it was in the 1970s and 1980s. But defunding/defanging the police is going to bring that right back. They can't comprehend what it was like, crime hit steep declines in the 1990s and on into very recently. its now on the rise in a big way and its going to continue that way for a long while. Crime will once again be something that comes up in presidential debates, just give it a little bit.

Image

Funny to watch women advocating for defunding the police... oh well.

what happened, is that the democratic party has always given crumbs to the fringe groups. Well now the fringe groups want real food, and Democrats don't know what to do about it. The "civil war" of old school pro israel dems vs the "new gen" pro palistine squad is going to be hilarious. The big problem with the democratic party is that its a "big tent" which means all inclusive, which is a paradox. I don't know how you have black christians in the same group as LGBTQ+, I don't know how you have working class coal miners in the same group as big environmentalism, i don't know how you have victimized feminists calling for defunding the police, and I don't know how we have a pro law/anti law enforcement party either. They love laws just not the cops to enforce them? just add the free palestine, pro israel into the mix now.

IDF: As of 7:00, since the beginning of operation "Guardian of the Walls", approximately 3,150 rockets have been fired from the Gaza Strip at Israeli territory, of which approximately 460 failed launches fell in the Gaza Strip.
The Iron Dome Air Defense System has an intercept rate of approximately 90%.

Those cheap rockets appear to have a very high failure rate.

Both Iron Dome and left wing hypocrisy will be with us for a long time. The former protects those that just want to live in peace. The latter is never called out, never challenged because the left controls the media narrative. All is well, so long as we creep toward socialism and the nanny state taking care of us cradle to grave.

Blacks are waking up IMO, but not nearly enough of them and not nearly fast enough. Everything the left promised you for decades? Better education, better treatment, better standard of living? Forget it. Not happening and you're in the rear view mirror now, for good. Why? Because they found a new group of suckers to promise the same things to..

What would you do If I create threads that are off-topic to their subfora while also breaking this forums guidelines?

Will you just stand by and let this forum slowly rot away under the pretense of "I did not have to click on it"?

We are all on this forum together and to make sure we keep a healthy discussion here we have these forum guidelines.

If people can just post unlimited discord without any attention to the guidelines then it's the end of this forum as a solid source for information, from that point on it's just another propaganda channel.

If you created one thread I doubt I'd even notice let alone care.
