I know no escape zones are rather classified...but what is a typical good range pilots engage at? I believe during Red Flag, F-22 pilots locked on usually around 30 km. The AIM-120D having 50 percent improvement in range probably has an effective range around 45 km-50 km. Also how much does effective range increase when going 1500 mph compared to 900mph for say?

great tool once you learn to use it. I even have a sheet I made to alter AIM-120B parameters to mimic C-7 and D and even CUDA.

It seems like trying to outfly the missile by flying 90 degrees to the side depletes the range to half of the operational range, and flying tail chase(outrun the missile by flying in front of it) from the target depletes the range to around 1/3 the operational range. (this seems to be the best NEZ value) What about maneuvering? It seems to me you have to be very lucky to outmanuver a missle inside the NEZ with that kind of speed, maybe a last second turn to make the missile overshoot.
