Provide formal instruction and assistance with the installation, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of F-16 avionics systems including flight controls, Agile Beam Radar / Internal FLIR (Forward-Looking InfraRed) Targeting System, Mission Computers, CCTVS, ADTE, and associated components, at the organizational level of maintenance. Inspects, analyzes and evaluates subsystems such as fire control radar, radar altimeter, inertial navigation, electro-optical systems, global positioning system, multiplex bus, data entry, head down displays, head-up display, automatic data initialization/digital terrain system, fire control computing and airborne video recording to determine operational status. Advice and assistance will be provided at the Intermediate level on those components not supported with automatic test equipment.

The instructor shall posses at a minimum the equivalent of a USAF skill level of seven (7) with military experience clearing aircraft for flight equipment discrepancies and 4 years current experience in their respective disciplines on F-16s.
Experience working with foreign nationals and documented Instructor experience is highly desired and will be viewed as a positive element during employment consideration. F-16 Block 40 or higher experience preferred. Candidates with additional experience in any of the following areas are preferred; shop/flight line setup, debrief, field training detachment (FTD), technical order library maintenance, quality assurance, or modification teams. Experience in more than one of the aforementioned areas will be viewed as a positive element during employment consideration.
Rate: $31.89/hr
