WPC Position Name: F-16 Experimental (Air Force Research Lab) Deployable Tactical Trainer Simulator Instructor.

Requirements:


• Instructor, fighter weapons school preferred
• Approximately 1000 hours of F-16 time, and current within the past several years.
• Experience in developing and implementing operational planning and exercise planning.
• Previous European operational experience is a plus.

Rated (F-16) pilot with Air-to-Air experience. The Contractor shall provide operational fighter pilot support including but not limited to: developingrealistic and relevant TTPs for virtual fighter simulators in support of tactical and operational level training events, coordinate with WPC planners to incorporate simulators into relevant exercises and training events, assist other planners in meeting AOR mission requirements during events, operate IOS and coordinate with engineers and technicians for maintenance, optimization, and upgrades to fighter and JTAC simulators. Additionally, the Contractor will be expected to control and perform duties as blue air/red air with constructivemodels including but not limited to MACE and NGTS. Support includes event preparation, mission briefing and debriefing with exercise participants, identification of lessons learned and compiling AARs. Contractor must maintain configuration management of training devices as well as loading, operating and troubleshooting the supporting models. Other duties as assigned.

Mandatory Required Experience:
Rated USAF Aircrew with recent operational Air-to-Air experience within fiveyears, minimum of 200 hours of Instructor or Evaluator experience, or have recent experience providing like training support (based on applicable weapon system and mission set). USAF Weapons School graduate qualification desired. Duties include Information Assurance responsibilities and Contractor must acquire required ISSO cybersecurity qualifications within six months of hire. Waiver of individual experience/qualification requirements will be addressed by WPC on a case-by-case basis.

Desired Experience:
Be familiar with USAF aircrew and distributed training requirements, methodology and procedures. The SME must have familiarity with USAF and Joint policy and doctrine as well as experience with the planning and execution of joint, combined, allied, and other partner nation’soperations and exercises. Contractor should be familiar with AFH 36-2235, Information for Designers of Instructional Systems, Volumes 1-13, AFMAN 36-2234, Instructional System Development, and AFMAN 36-2236, Guidebook for AF Instructors.
