I just happened to notice that the USN
Has deployed The Roosevelt strike group in the SCS to confront China. This task for is made up of burkes
The lead carrier and two Gator boats.
I could not find out if the F-35 is onboard Teddy big stick, or any of the amphibs.
Can we confirm F-35s in theatre.
I would personally go 10-200 in my flight suite as a Super Hornet pilot, confront the Chinese SAG.

Aww rats.

Apparently CVW-11 hasnt got the F-35 yet.
Maybe the Maribe sqn is deployed

The increased number of ships was not just due to the Chinese naval exercise alone. Yesterday the Theodore Roosevelt Carrier Strike Group and the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) conducted a coordinated exercise in the South China Sea. The TRCSG consists of the USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71), Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 11, the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Bunker Hill (CG 52), Destroyer Squadron 23, and the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Russell (DDG 59). The USS Makin Island's group also consisted of amphibious assault ships the USS Somerset and USS San Diego.

When the gator navy can launch a more damaging alpha strike with six Killer Bees than a CVN's (super) bug swarm...

Take an F-16, stir in A-7, dollop of F-117, gob of F-22, dash of F/A-18, sprinkle with AV-8B, stir well + bake. Whaddya get? F-35.

The only problem is the F-35B has to use LGBs. In a anti-ship role

I guess I can see hem jamming into Lgb range. F-35s have gotten in and out of Syria, and that place is a heck of alot more dangerous with IADS than a Chinese SAG.

They'd use JSOWs most likely.
